The LG Twins will look to extend their winning streak to eight games when they travel to Daegu.
LG, led by manager Yoon Kyung-yeop, will host the Samsung Lions of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League on Thursday at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu. LG, which leads the head-to-head series 8-1 after nine games, will confirm its dominance over Samsung in the 2023 season with a win. It would also extend the team’s winning streak to eight games from seven.
Starting on the mound will be Lee Ji-gang. She is 12-3 with a 4.75 ERA in 36 innings pitched in 12 games this season, and in her most recent outing against the Doosan Bears on April 29, she gave up three runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in 4⅓ innings.
